Welcome to EssentiallyABA. These terms explain your access to the BCBA Study System and how you may use our study resources. By purchasing or using the Study System, you agree to these terms.

Your 12 months of access

Your purchase includes 12 months of online access to the BCBA Study System, beginning on your purchase date. You can use the included study tools throughout that period. Your purchase is a one-time payment with no automatic renewal.

New tools are included

Any new tools, practice activities, or study resources added to the BCBA Study System during your active 12-month access period are included at no additional charge. You receive access when they are released, for the remainder of your access period.

For example, if we add a second mock exam or interactive workbook pages to the Study System while your access is active, those additions are included in your purchase.

Your downloads

You may download the included Visual Manual and Workbook for your own study and print copies for your personal use. You may keep and continue using your downloaded copies for personal study after your online access ends.

Your account and personal use

Each purchase is for one student. Please keep your login private and use accurate account information so we can connect your purchase and study progress to you.

The materials, illustrations, practice questions, and tools belong to EssentiallyABA or their respective owners. Your purchase gives you permission to use them for personal study. Sharing or selling your account, distributing files or questions, or posting the materials publicly requires our written permission, except where applicable law permits the use.

Learning and exam preparation

EssentiallyABA provides educational study resources. Your results depend on your preparation and other individual factors. We do not guarantee an exam score, a passing result, or certification. Refer to the BACB’s official publications for current exam and certification requirements.

Using the study tools

You’ll need an internet connection and a compatible browser to use the online tools. We maintain and improve the Study System over time, and occasional maintenance or service interruptions may affect availability. If you need help, please contact us.

We may restrict or suspend an account if it is used to distribute materials without permission, share paid access, or interfere with the service. Where reasonably possible, we’ll contact you to explain the issue and help resolve it.

Purchases and refunds

Please review the product description and access details before purchasing. Our Refund Policy explains how digital purchases and retail book returns are handled.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as our services develop and will show the updated date on this page. We’ll notify affected account holders of material changes. Updates will not reduce the access period or included-tools commitment attached to an existing purchase.

These terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
